Say goodbye to dentures! Life with loose or missing teeth can make your life a misery, seizing your confidence to smile as you wish and eat what you please.
Sometimes despite our efforts to save-out teeth, they are lost due to trauma or disease. When this happens, dental implants are the current standard of care and an excellent choice to restore a single tooth or multiple teeth. Our Dental Specialists in Milton Keynes are highly qualified to place dental implants which will replicate the natural function and appearance of your teeth.
Smile in a Day dental implant procedure
Our Smile in a Day dental implant procedure is a long-lasting dental solution for people who live with the discomfort and embarrassment of dentures and loose or missing teeth – all within a day.
This scientifically proven technique gives you a permanent, worry-free dental solution that looks, feels and works just like real teeth. Smile in a Day uses dental implants that are precisely placed to maximise the use of the available bone so that dental implants and fixed teeth can be fitted in one day.
Life without Dentures
In just one day you can have a full set of fixed, natural-looking teeth. Our leading surgeon Dr A Soyombo can provide you with a brand new smile in just 1 day using the All-on-4™ technique, created by the world’s No 1 implant company Nobel Biocare, who are at the forefront of research and development in this field. We are proud to say we place Nobel Biocare Implants.
While traditional dental implants are now acknowledged as the best alternative to dentures, they are not suitable for patients who have insufficient underlying bone structure to support the titanium rod (or artificial root) that is fixed into the jawbone to support the new crown. Bone grafting and sinus lifts are possible to regenerate the bone in the area of the implant but this process can take 6 months and sometimes longer to carry out. For some, this may not be a viable or attractive option.
This ground-breaking procedure involves placing just 4 dental implants into the jaw. These implants are specially designed and placed at four different angles within the jaw bone. This not only works around the problem of insufficient bone structure but also forms a very strong but unobtrusive structure to hold the fixed bridge in place.
The other major and remarkable advantage of this technique is that the implants and bridge can be placed in a single visit – this has resulted in the technique also being referred to as “teeth in a day” or “same-day dental implants”.
